Festool 203351 Interface Sander Backing Pad IP-STF D150/MJ2-15/1. Used as a damping element between the sanding (abrasive) disc and sanding pad, and has an optimal thickness for sanding work on bodies and similarly shaped components. It is ideal for sanding curves and beading, and reduce the risk of sanding through at edges.
The pad is designed to be part of the patented MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 (MJ2) system. The MJ2 system delivers outstanding sanding results thanks to its unique functional principle. MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 is defined by the unique interaction between intake air and exhaust air, with optimum dust extraction right up to the edge. The result is virtually 100% dust extraction for a consistently high material removal rate, top surface quality, and a healthy working environment.
