The Festool 203348 Interface Sander Backing Pads IP-STF D150/MJ2-5/2 are used as a damping element between the sanding (abrasive) disc and sanding pad, and have an optimal thickness for sanding work on bodies and similarly shaped components. They are ideal for sanding curves and beading, and reduce the risk of sanding through at edges.These pads are designed to be part of the patented MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 (MJ2) system. The MJ2 system delivers outstanding sanding results thanks to its unique functional principle. MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 is defined by the unique interaction between intake air and exhaust air, with optimum dust extraction right up to the edge. The result is virtually 100% dust extraction for a consistently high material removal rate, top surface quality, and a healthy working environment.For random orbital sanders with diameter of 6" (150 mm).
