Starting out as a small-town general farm store in 1947, to now being the largest independently owned hardware store in America, Hartville Hardware has always made customer service our number one priority while providing an in-store experience unlike any other. Over the last 76 years, Hartville Hardware's flagship store has out-grown two locations and since 2012 has been the home of 305,000 square-feet of selling space, covering two floors. With a drive-thru lumber yard, an 1,850 square foot idea house in the center of the store, a full-service design center, a John Deere sales and service department, and one of the largest Carhartt shops around - Hartville Hardware in Hartville, Ohio is a destination shopping experience for anyone visiting Ohio.
Location
Located halfway between Akron and Canton in northeast Ohio, Hartville Hardware is near all the major attractions in the area. Located only 12 miles from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and nine miles from Gervasi Vineyard, Hartville Hardware's flagship store is a convenient stop while visiting Canton, Ohio. If you are in Akron, Ohio, for an Akron RubberDucks Minor League Baseball game or the World Championship finals for the Soap Box Derby, we are within 13 miles of both locations. We are also only 15 miles from the Akron Zoo. Traveling to Cleveland? Hartville Hardware's flagship store is just an hour's drive south of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in downtown Cleveland or from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Hartville Kitchen
Since 1966, Hartville Kitchen has been serving up traditional home-style foods passed down through the family. Finish off your meal with a piece of pie made fresh daily in the bakery. If you want to take a sweet treat home, stop by the bakery and choose from a large selection of cakes, cookies, pies, and breads.

Hartville Flea Market
The Hartville Flea Market has been drawing crowds from all over since opening as a livestock auction in 1939. It is now considered America's largest outdoor flea market, featuring vendors selling locally grown produce, one-of-a-kind antiques, and other top-quality items across 12 acres.
