The Bosch 5-inch Single-Speed Random Orbit Palm Sander features a 2.5 amp motor that delivers 12,000 OPM. It is designed to work with industry-standard 5-inch round, hook-and-loop microcellular backing pads to deliver well-blended and ultra-smooth finish. The pliable sanding pads firmly grip to the orbit sander and ensure a fine, smooth finish on flat and contoured surfaces. It is also designed with an integrated pad dampening braking system which helps eliminate swirl marks on work pieces. For additional convenience, the tool is designed with a soft-grip top and a low vibration operating system. The built-in micro filter dust collection system delivers a cleaner work surface and its anti-spillback canister design minimizes the chance of dust spillback into the orbit sander.
