The DEWALT 12" Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw (DWS779) features a powerful 15-amp motor that delivers 3,800 RPM of speed for accurate cuts in tough materials. It has a tall sliding fence that supports 7-1/2-inches of crown nested and 6-3/4-inch base vertically. It can also support up to 2x14 dimensional lumber at 90° and 2x10 at 45°. The stainless steel miter detent plate offers 10 positive stops while the cam lock miter handle with detent override offers quick miter angles. The incorporated dual horizontal steel rails with clamping mechanisms and linear ball bearings deliver accuracy and tool durability. In addition, this miter saw has a built-in dust collection system that captures over 75% of the dust that is generated.
