Also known as a Hogger or Chipbreaker, this spiral router bit has roughing type cutting edges which are ideal for fast cutting operations in hard materials. The up cutting action reduces chipping and splintering. Good for applications where chip clearance is essential. This bit is also useful in cutting deep through slots, or for shallow finish work such as inlays, laminates, or veneers.
