A production quality Forstner style boring bit features a centering point, 2 straight carbide cutters for perfectly flat and smooth bottomed holes, and 2 carbide spurs to eliminate tear out. The 35mm diameter size is widely used for installing European style cup hinges for cabinet doors. Shank has a flat on one side for secure installation. NOTE: Bit is designed for use in a boring machine with a right handed rotation only. Not for use in a drill press or router.
