Product Description
This Specialty Magnetic Primer from Rust-Oleum is designed to transform a simple surface to one that attracts magnets. This dark gray basecoat can be applied to indoor materials like wood, metal, masonry, drywall, plaster and can be top coated with any latex paint. When coated properly, strong magnets with minimal weight adhere with ease. Use this fun primer to hang notes, photos and more! This primer is safe for use near electronics.
For best results, shake the can in an electric shaker in the paint department or stir the paint thoroughly for at least 10 minutes scraping the bottom of the can. Stir the primer into a smooth, lump free consistency and then stir regularly during application. Apply at least 3 coats of primer and no more than 2 coats of top coat for maximum magnetic attraction. Rare earth magnets adhere best to treated surfaces.
