Whiteside 9012 #2 MT Pro Pen Mandrel. Incorporating similar technology to that used on modern CNC machines, the hollow Morse Taper and Collet design of the Whiteside Pro Pen Mandrel allows for a superior hold on the mandrel, while offering fast, easy adjustments, regardless of pen length or style. It's so simple to use – just loosen the collet nut, slide the mandrel to the desired length, then re-tighten. This premium quality system makes off center turnings and the need for spacers on short turnings a thing of the past. The Mandrel's Morse Taper is precision machined for a secure fit into headstock of the lathe. The #2 MT is 5-5/16" long. Mandrel is 7-1/2" long has a .246" diameter.
