1) Make the normal mitered cut on the baseboard to create the profile you’ll need to follow.
2) Clamp the Basecoper to the work piece with the end of the base visible through the window.
3) With the jigsaw flat on the Basecoper window, and set for normal up and down cutting, make relief cuts appropriate to the base's profile.
4) Make the coping cut following the base's profile.
