Designed to fit gouges and v-parting tools. 2 different edge shapes make them universal sharpeners. One edge is tapered from 1/2" to 1/8" in diameter and will handle various tool blade curves. The other edge is a straight, angled taper which forms a knife edge for honing small and large V-parting tools. Use India stones for initial sharpening, and the Hard Translucent Arakansas (HTA) for finishing and polishing. Stones are 4-1/2" x 1-3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8". USA
