This Hardwired Alarm with Voice Alert detects both Smoke and Carbon Monoxide hazards. It is equipped with a photoelectric sensor that provides the earliest possible warning of fire. This alarm is also equipped with an electrochemical sensor that monitors CO levels that can leak from a variety of places including fuel-burning appliances, blocked chimneys, and cars in the garage. This 120-volt detector is designed to be hardwired into a home or office and in the event of a power outage, the battery backup allows the detector to continue functioning.
