It is a plug-in detector that also has a battery back-up for continuous monitoring even during power outages. It also features an easy-to-read backlit digital screen that indicates detection and power levels. The calm blue light of the display makes it ideal for use in bedrooms. This CO alarm has a test and silence button for added convenience. It also has an end-of-life warning that lets you know when to replace the alarm.
