Makita 18V LXT® Cordless Reciprocating Saw features a Makita-built variable speed motor that delivers 0-2,800 strokes per minute and a 1-1/4-inch stroke length for faster cuts. To maximize productivity, it has an electric brake and a “tool-less” blade change system that enables faster blade installation and removal. In addition, the large, two-finger variable speed trigger allows operators to match speed to application and refined crank mechanisms minimizes blade deflection and reduces vibration. At only 19-1/8-inches long and weighing only 8.3-lbs (with battery, sold separately), this compact and ergonomically designed saw reduces operator fatigue during continuous use. It also has rubberized soft grip hands for increased comfort. This tool is protected by Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components. It is also equipped with Star Protection Computer Controls™ which protects the unit from overloading, over-discharging and over-heating. This tool is compatible with genuine Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Batteries with a Star symbol (sold separately). Batteries and chargers are sold separately.
