This tool planes up to 3-1/4 inches wide and 5/64 inches deep in a single pass when paired with a Makita 18V LXT® battery (sold separately). In addition to its rubberized soft-grip front and rear handles, this tool weighs only 7.4-lbs. and is ergonomically centered for balance which increases comfort on the job. The motor delivers speeds up to 15,000 RPM for faster stock removal while the click depth adjustment knob allows for precise depth adjustment from 0” to 5/64”.
