DAP 28 Oz. DYNAGRIP® 4000 Subfloor Construction Adhesive is specially formulated for subfloor and deck installations. This solvent-based adhesive is easy to gun and prevents floors from squeaking. It also provides a very strong and permanent bond which improves structural performance of floor assemblies when properly used. In addition, DYNAGRIP® 4000 can even form weatherproof bonds on wet, frozen and treated lumber. This 28 oz. can of subfloor adhesive is designed to never freeze and has a shelf life of up to 18 months. DYNAGRIP® 4000 is not recommended for use on bonding two non-porous materials, constant water exposure areas, foam board installation, mirror installation, and any applications other than subfloor and deck installation.
To receive the best results, apply DAP 28 Oz. DYNAGRIP® 4000 Subfloor Construction Adhesive in temperatures about 0°F. Keep the adhesive above 40°F for an easier gunning experience. Also, ensure that one surface that is being bonded is porous and make sure to store the adhesive away from extreme heat or cold. NOTE: If using this adhesive on concrete, the concrete must be above grade, dry and fully curated (at least 28 days).
