The grinder is equipped with Tormek's Original Grindstone, which gives you two different cutting actions in one wheel. You can easily alternate between a coarse sharpening at 220 grit and a fine sharpening having a surface equivalent to 1000 grit. This means that you can both restore a destroyed tool and make it good as new again, or simply just touch up a dull edge. By finishing the sharpening process on the leather honing wheel, you polish the bevel and remove the burr which develops during grinding. This gives your tool the maximum sharpness and a polished edge which lasts for a long time.

The Tormek T-4 Bushcraft has a solid cast frame of zinc in which the machine's vital components (the motor, main shaft and sleeves for the Universal Support) are integrated. The lower housing is made of impact resistant ABS plastic. This design means a shock-resistant and stable machine with an unbeatable precision.
