Meet Hytyme Legend, the Kentucky Mounted Police Horse, a part of Breyer's celebrated collection. As the Kentucky Horse Park's newest equine officer, Legend patrols over 1,200 acres on horseback, performing duties from security checks to greeting the public. Owned by Jim Elliott and partnered with Officer Rakow, Legend joined the team in 2021. This Drum Horse, with his lineage being a mix of Clydesdale, Shire, and Vanner, is named for his protective medicine hat and shield markings, revered in Native American legend. Commander Captain Rakes praises Legend for his calm, level-headed nature and kind disposition, making him an exemplary ambassador to the Kentucky Horse Park.
