The CoBolt® XL Compact Bolt Cutters from KNIPEX are designed for powerful cutting in large cross-sections and hard materials. They require two-hand operation for maximum cutting force but require 60% less effort compared to high leverage diagonal cutters of the same size. In addition, the plier’s special joint design offers a 40x increase in manual force. Below the joint is a gripping surface for pulling wires with a starting diameter from 1.0 mm. The straight blades are induction-hardened, heavy-duty steel and provide a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC.
