Paired with (2) 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteriesthis tool delivers 36V of power and performance without leaving Makita’s 18V LXT® line. In addition, it offers variable speed (0-3,940 FPM)for optimal cutting performance in a variety of applications. For efficient chain retention, this chainsaw has a lateral chain tensioning design with dual stud. The tool also has an adjustable automatic chain lubrication system with a large oil reservoir and view window for easy oil level refills or checks. For enhanced operator comfort, this tool features low noise levels and rubberized soft grip handles. In addition, the bar nuts are retained in the sprocket cover for easy setup and tool maintenance. For safety, the tool features Makita’s Star Protection Computer Controls™ which protects the tool form overloading, over-discharging and over-heating.It also has Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components.
