Spyderco Robin™2 G-10 Knife with PlainEdge is part of Spyderco’s popular byrd line which is receiving upgraded enhancements such as improved ergonomics, a four-way pocket clip, and a high-performance full-flat ground blade. This pocket knife features a mid-size design that makes it ideal for everyday carry. The blade features a high-carbon 8Cr13MoV stainless steel construction and Spyderco’s signature round hole for quick, one-handed opening with either hand. To offer tactical resistance against slipping or prevent the folder from sliding, this knife features jimping (or crosshatching) dots along the spine that creates a texturized thumb resting point. The handle is constructed of a stainless liner with G-10 epoxy-filled scales over the front and back. This G-10 laminated handle resists chemicals, oil and extreme temperatures while providing a secure grip for cutting. TheRobin™2 knife includes a four-position clip that allows users to carry it in all possible configurations and a tether-ready hole for additional attachment methods to fobs or lanyards.
As an added safety feature to the back-lock, the custom knifemaker, David Boye, created a half-moon-shaped snip of steel from the lock’s release lever.
