Makita XGT® Cordless 10-1/4" Circular Rear Handle Saw Kit features a brushless motor that delivers 4,000 RPM of no-load speed while having an extra-large 3-3/4-inch cutting capacity at 90°. This saw cuts 4x more material in a single pass and delivers faster cutting than corded competitor saws. The saw’s communication within the Makita XGT® system is designed to optimize the tool’s performance and provide 2x longer power under heavy-loads. The XGT® also protects the tool against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. Paired with a 4.0 Ah Battery, this tool can deliver up to 150 cuts in 4x4 SPF lumber on a single charge. The ergonomic design of the saw at only 13.3-lbs. (3.2-lbs lighter than corded competitors), lessens user fatigue during all-day use. In addition, it has a bevel angle up to 56°with positive stops at 22.5°and 45°. The tool’s automatic torque drive adjusts cutting speeds under load while the electric brake offers maximum productivity. For durability, the base, blade guard and blade cover are constructed of die-cast magnesium. The kit also includes an onboard offset wrench for fast blade changes and a retractable tool hook for securing the tool when not in use. The saw is capable with Makita’s Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS® transmitter sold separately), which utilizes Bluetooth technology to wirelessly turn communication between the tool and dust extractor on and off. The tool also features Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components. This kit includes (1) XGT® 4.0 Ah Battery and a XGT® Rapid Optimum Charger. XGT Tools and batteries are constructed of rigid, impact-resistant rails designed to take on high-current demands. The rapid charger has a dual-fan design that circulates air flow keeping the battery cool while the built-in chip communicates during the charging process to control current, voltage, and temperature.
