The Bosch PROFACTOR 18V Spitfire 5"-6" Angle Grinder delivers advanced control and power that is equal to a 13-amp corded grinder. The tool also features an electronic clutch control that shuts off the wheel if it gets into a bind situation and a brake system that provides rapid wheel stop when the switch is turned off. It also has restart protection which adds additional safety by preventing accidental tool startup if the supply of power is interrupted during use. High performance power is generated by the tool’s BITURBO Brushless motor while the drive-train system takes full advantage of the additional power generated by CORE18V PROFACTOR Batteries. For additional user convenience, the tool features a vibration control auxiliary handle, spiral bevel gears that provide smooth power in grinding applications and a lock-on switch for extended use. The angle grinder features BoschBluetooth connectivity (module sold separately) making it possible for users to connect to the Bosch Toolbox app and customize their tool’s settings or providing feedback. The included 18V CORE18V Lithium-Ion 8.0 Ah PROFACTOR Performance Battery is compatible with Bosch 18V tools and is optimized with BITRUBO Brushless Technology to deliver power comparable to the most demanding corded tools. The battery also features Bosch-exclusive CoolPack 2.0 Technology which offers better cooling than the previous generation CoolPack systems.
