The Bosch PROFACTOR™ 18V Surgeon 12" Glide Miter Saw with Axial-Glide System provides wider cross-cuts, enhanced alignment and smoother glide for the life of the tool. It also features BITURBO Brushless Technology which delivers professional cordless cutting. This saw takes up less space compared to competitor sliding-rail miter saws because of the tool’s articulating arm with no slide arms behind. The saw’ bevel control is located up front to make bevel adjustments safer while the integrated laser guide system accurately aligns the cut line to the blade. Compatible with a variety of 12-inch blades, this miter saw delivers a large cutting capacity with a 3.5-inch depth and 13.5-inch width/crosscut. When you need a little extra runtime, this saw features ECO mode which extends battery runtime by up to 20%. In addition, it has connectivity (module sold separately), providing a link to a connected device via Bosch Toolbox App to select speed, and mode settings. For added convenience, the saw’s 4-3/4-inch tall fence design supports cuts in taller material while the integrated base extensions extend material support up to 43-inches. The included CORE18V PROFACTOR™ Battery is compatible with Bosch 18V tools and offers power that is comparable to the most demanding corded tools. In addition, it includes Bosch’s exclusive CoolPack 2.0 technology which provides better cooling than previous generation CoolPack systems.
