The Bosch PROFACTOR™ 18V Connected-Ready 5-1/2-Inch Track Saw with Plunge Action delivers powerful performance comparable to corded saws. It is ideal for wood and wood-based sheet goods, such as laminated particle boards and plywood. The saw’s plunge mechanism offers precise plunge cuts with accurate depth of cut and has a single pivot point for both bevel or non-bevel cuts. The motor is protected against overheating by the tool’s Overload Protection technology while the constant electronics help it maintain it’s speed under load even in the most demanding applications. In addition, the tool features a brushless high-performing motor and a drive-train system that are engineered to take advantage of the additional power generated by Bosch CORE18V PROFACTOR Batteries. For efficient dust extraction and a cleaner working environment, this saw’s swivel hose port allows a compatible vacuum cleaner to be attached and swiveled out of the way. For additional convenience and a better cutting experience, the tracking adjustment on this tool features front and rear knobs for adjusting the precision of fit of the saw to the track. In addition, this saw is compatible with a range of Bosch track-guidance systems which helps make accurate, fast, and straight cuts. The tool has an onboard control module that provides speed-setting control and tool feedback and ECO mode which extends the tool’s battery runtime by up to 30%. It also has Bluetooth connectivity (module sold separately) making it possible for users to connect to the Bosch Toolbox app and customize their tool’s settings or providing feedback. This Bosch kit includes (1) CORE18V 8.0 Ah PROFACTOR Performance Battery that is optimized with BITURBO Brushless Technology to deliver power comparable to the most demanding corded tools on the market. It features high-powered cells that use enhanced 21700 cell cutting-edge technology to transfer more power for a longer time. The battery also features Bosch-exclusive CoolPack 2.0 Technology which offers better cooling than the previous generation CoolPack systems.
