Makita 18V LXT® Cordless 2-Piece Combo Kit features two brushless tools for tackling all of your drilling, driving and fastening needs. The Hammer Driver-Drill delivers variable speeds (0-550 & 0-2,100 RPM) and 1,250 in-lbs. of max torque. With one of the included batteries, this tool only weighs 6-lbs. The Impact Driver delivers 4-speeds (0-1,100 / 0-2,100 / 0-3,200 / 0-3,600 RPM & 0-1,100 / 0-2,600 / 0-3,600 / 0-3,800 IPM) and provides 1,600 in-lbs. of max torque. With a battery, this tool weighs even less at just 3.4-lbs. The brushless motors of both tools feature electronic controls that enable the tools to match torque and speed to changing demand or applications. This means the battery’s energy is optimized for up to 50% longer run times per charge. The tools are also equipped with Makita’s Star Protection Computer Controls™ which protect them against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating. The included Rapid Optimum Charger communicates with the batteries built-in chip to optimized battery life while controlling current, voltage and temperature. The charger also has an integrated fan that cools the batteries for faster charging. The 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Ah batteries (BL1850B) feature an integrated LED charge level indicator and reach a full charge in 45 minutes or less.
