With a battery, this tool weighs even less at just 3.4-lbs. The brushless motors of both tools feature electronic controls that enable the tools to match torque and speed to changing demand or applications. The tools are also equipped with Makita’s Star Protection Computer Controls™ which protect them against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating.
