The Makita 18V LXT® Cordless 1/2" Hammer Driver?Drill features a Makita-built BL™ brushless motor that delivers 1,250 in-lbs. of max. torque. It also features a 2-speed transmission that delivers 0-550 & 0-2,100 RPM of variable speed for more control in drilling, fastening and hammer drilling applications. The all metal 1/2" self-ratcheting chuck is designed to improve bit grip strength and durability. Not only does this compact tool offer better ergonomics at just 7-inches long, it is also 14% shorter than Makita’s previous model Hammer Driver-Drill. Plus, this tool features Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components.
