Little brother to the famous 110 folding hunter, the 55 is a famous gentleman's knife. As part of the 2021 Legacy Collection, this 55 is an upgraded version designed for the collector or daily carry. Customized with modern materials, the blade is S30V stainless steel with a nickel silver handle featuring marbled carbon fiber inlays. This knife will only be available during 2021.

Carbon Fiber
An extremely strong, lightweight material that is resistant to heat, cold, chemicals, impact, and other abuse. The high strength to low weight qualities make carbon fiber well suited for knife handles.
Lockback
Lockback folding knives have a mechanism that lock the blade in the open position, activated by opening the blade all the way. A lock back gets its name from a rocker (rocking lock bar) partially visible on top of the knife. Opening the blade causes the rocker to lock against the blade so it locks open. Pushing down on the rocker on top of the handle releases it and enables the user to close the blade. Lockbacks require two hand closing, though some are one hand openers.

Buck Knives are known for their blades. Each blade is put through a rigorous heat treat process and quality performance test. It is then tempered to the appropriate Rockwell Hardness through a heating, freezing, and reheating system. This gives you longer edge life, ease of resharpening, adn a blade that will not fail you.
