The Easy Wood Tools PT150 1/8" Easy Parting Tool is Easy Wood's 2nd generation Parting Tool. It's safer and steadier than the previous version and, like all Easy Wood Tools, it has a replaceable carbide cutter. It cuts a clean 1/8" wide part, provides precise and stable control, and allows a flexible approach for side cutting and undercutting techniques.
The Easy Parting Tool comes with a replaceable stainless steel cutter blade that has a permanently mounted Negative Rake Carbide Cutter for smooth, clean parting through all materials, with no sharpening required. The improved reach of this tool allows for bigger projects up to 5" diameter, while still offering stable control.
The handle is made from one-of-a-kind grained American Maple with a copper ferrule that gives strength. The tool comes with a replaceable Negative Rake Carbide Cutter Blade (#Pi160) already installed, and it includes a 5/32" standard hex key that makes changing the cutter blade quick and easy. The tool has a 14" long handle with a 2 1/2" long Blade, and has an overall length of 19". USA
NOTE: The Pi160 replacement NR Cutter Blade will only work with the 2nd Generation 1/8" Parting Tool. The Original 1/8" Parting Tool accepts the Pi1 replacement standard cutter.
