ZAR® Deck & Siding Semi-Transparent Stain offers rich color and subtle sheen. It is an all-in-one stain and sealer that is perfect for rejuvenating and conditioning new, old and pressure-treated unpainted wood surfaces. The proprietary formula is a blend of oils and finely ground pigments which creates beautiful depth and clarity of color. It offers excellent adhesion, abrasion resistance, and weather protection. It is even fortified with UV inhibitors and offers resistance to mold and mildew. This exterior stain is perfect for decks, siding, docks, shakes, shingles, fences, log homes, railings, posts, sheds and much more!
Application: Apply with a synthetic bristle brush, roller or sprayer. Apply when air and surface temperatures are 40°F (4°C) but not above 90°F (32°C), humidity between 40%-70%. Do not thin. Stir thoroughly before and during use. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours.
Maintenance: Reapply at 2-4 year intervals for vertical surfaces and 1-3 years on horizontal surfaces. Areas with frequent sun, weather, or foot traffic exposure will show wear more quickly than other surfaces.
