Wera re-designed the classic L-Key with their 9-Piece Hex-Plus Ball End Metric L-Key Set. The Hex-Plus tools are constructed with a larger contact surface in the screw head to resist rounding out. Since the notching effects are reduced, the risk of destroying a hexagonal socket screw recess is almost completely eliminated. In addition, these L-keys can withstand 20% more applied torque. The ball tip end on the long arm makes it possible to work in confined spaces by swiveling the axis of the tool and screw driving at an angle or “around the corner”. For easy and quick size identification, each key is laser engraved and color coded according to their size. These L-keys have also been surface treated with BlackLaser to prevent corrosion and provide a longer life. The keys are kept in a useful clip fastener that ensures secure storage, simple removal and wear-protection.
