This un-handled version of the Easy Wood Tools #PT125 Easy Parting Tool is the easiest, safest, and most versatile parting tool you will ever use. With perfect geometries built right into the 1/8" replaceable carbide cutter, you will never need to worry with all the fuss of sharpening. Like all Easy wood tools, the Easy Parting Tool is used flat on the tool rest, although you can also rub bevel if you wish.
The stainless steel Easy Parting Tool blade has an overall length of approximately 8" long with a 1-7/8" long by 3/8" diameter shank. The tool bar which has rounded edges for comfort. The cutting end of the tool bar measures 3/32" wide by 3" long, and the tool will part off pieces up to 4" in diameter.
