    The Simpson Strong-Tie H1AZ Hurricane Tie is specifically engineered to enhance the structural integrity of buildings by providing a robust connection between the truss or rafter and the wall. This tie is designed to withstand wind and seismic forces, making it a critical component in areas prone to such conditions. Suitable for nominal 2x lumber, the H1AZ features a U-shaped design that simplifies installation, offering a quicker alternative to using two single-sided ties. Additionally, it includes embossments that increase stiffness in crucial areas, thus improving overall performance.
