Ratchet knobs have unlimited uses for tool-free attachment of stop blocks, fixtures, and accessories to any 1/4" T-slot, but their neatest trick is that they'll work in tighter spaces and are more comfortable to operate than conventional knobs.
Because the lever can be repositioned on the knob's body the knobs need very little clearance. Just pull and rotate the lever into open space. Releasing the lever reengages it with the body (Note: Lever does not actually ratchet back and forth like a socket set).
Knobs will work in any t-slot that will accept the head of a 1/4-20 bolt (including many other brands than INCRA). They are ideal for the fence mount & extender bars on INCRA Miter Gauges, the T-slots in INCRA Miter Sleds, jigs assembled with Build-It components, and INCRA T-Track & T-Track Plus.
The 1/2" hex bolts included in the set are perfect for the fences and extender bars on INCRA Miter Gauges and sleds. The 1" bolts included in the set will clamp material 1/2" to 5/8" thick (or up to 3/4" without a washer). Substitute standard 1/4-20 hex bolts of any length needed for your applications.
