General Finishes Chalk Style Paint is an interior matte paint with a soft, chalky look that provides both classic color and a casual, relaxed feel. It is ideal for antiqued projects or any project where a bit of texture is desired. A huge variety of effects and colors can be achieved by layering or mixing Chalk Style Paint with Milk Paint. Chalk Style Paint dries quickly, cleans up with water and has very little odor. It can be used as a topcoat for low use items such as bookshelves, but for high-use items such as tables and cabinets, it should be topcoated with water-based GF High Performance, GF Flat Out Flat, or Enduro Professional for more durability. Use of a separate topcoat is also recommended if a smoother surface is desired, as Chalk Style Paint has more texture than, for example, Milk Paint.
