The PetSafe Pawz Away Scat Mat makes teaching your pet to stay out of rooms and off furniture easy!
Depending on the type of correction you select, the Pawz Away pet training mat will provide your pet with a correction the moment your pet steps onto it. Embedded with small internal sensors, the Scat Mat detects when your pet walks on it and transmits a corrective tone or static shock. The static correction is completely safe and won't harm your pet. When the correction is felt underfoot, your pet will "scat" from the area you've made off limits. The Scat Mat can be placed on the floor, on a piece of furniture, or on top of a table or countertop. It takes just a matter of days for your pet to learn to stay clear of the area that contains the Pawz Away Mat.
The scat mat features 3 training modes to choose from:
1) Tone Only: Provides a startling sound whenever your pet steps on the mat, quickly learning to stay away from the prohibited area. Perfect for sensitive pets that don't need a lot of correction.
2) Stimulation Only: Provides an immediate static correction the moment your pet walks on the mat (no audible tone). Effective for pets that aren't discouraged by the tone only.
3) Tone + Stimulation: Provides both a tone and immediate static correction. Great for teaching stubborn pets known for their stubborn streaks!
Please note: The Pawz Away Scat Mat is designed for indoor use only. The mat itself is not waterproof and the internal wiring can be damaged if left outdoors in wet weather.
