This Weathermaster 10 Oz. White Metal Roof Sealant from Titebond is specially formulated, premium-grade polymer that delivers unbeatable adhesion to all metals including Kynar™ coated metals, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper and most other common building materials. This sealant is ideal for outdoor applications such as sealing metal roofs, windows, doors, siding, gutters and vents. It even applies in extreme weather conditions, remains permanently flexible and will not crack. This UV-resistant and VOC-compliant formula will not shrink and adheres to wet or damp surfaces.
Application: Surface must be clean and free of any materials that might prevent proper adhesion. Remove the nozzle, cut the tip of the nub and puncture the inner foil seal. Screw the nozzle back onto the cartridge and cut the tip on a slant for 1/4" to 3/8” bead. Then place the cartridge in the caulking gun. Force the sealant into clean joint and always apply it in bead form. Once the sealant is dry to the touch and does not transfer, remove any tape masking adjacent areas.
Cleanup: Uncured material can be cleaned with acetone or isopropyl alcohol. After the material has cured, excess sealant must be cut or scraped away.
