This home was designed for energy efficiency so the Kitchen was built into a hill which is why there are no windows. The client loves to cook so they wanted to incorporate Sub Zero Wolf appliances in their remodel. Because of the construction of the home our challenge was to find a way to vent the range, increase the efficiency of the kitchen and lighten the feel of what was a dark space. The end result is an attractive space with an improved cabinet layout which makes the workflow more efficient. The additional of the same-height bar opposite of the sink provides an eat-in kitchen and also adds additional countertop space for preparation or serving of food when needed. Top hinged storage cabinets provide easy access to countertop appliances. Quartz countertops provide the beauty and durability needed in a cook's kitchen. We think you would agree this remodel was a success!
