Store Closing Press Release
Hartville, Ohio (January 5, 2022) — After thoughtful consideration, Hartville Hardware & Lumber announced today that it will be closing its Tallmadge location in early 2022. All employees affected will be offered positions across the company's other stores. Customers will be notified verbally and by signage posted throughout the store. Business hours are Monday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and closed on Sunday.

The store closure allows the company to focus on locations that better fit its overall strategy and address changing consumer buying behavior which favors a combination of brick-and-mortar and digital channels.

"We are grateful for the Tallmadge communities' support, hospitality, and patronage of Hartville Hardware 2. It is our sincere hope that we can continue to serve the community of Tallmadge through our other locations and online."

Hartville Hardware 2: Tallmadge

The new 10,000 square foot Hartville Hardware 2 in Tallmadge, Ohio, is located adjacent to the Henry Bierce Company and is OPEN! The store caters to the customers in the Tallmadge community by providing excellent service, appliance sales and repair, extensive STIHL product offering, traditional hardware items, and specialty items available through the parent store in Hartville. The former Henry Bierce Hardware site has been revamped, refashioned and is ready to meet and greet customers who like the feel of a family-owned hardware with the type of merchandise that shouts quality and value.
