The Hartville Fire Department serves to protect the Village of Hartville in fire and 911 emergencies. In addition to responding to emergency situations, tending to equipment, and training, the Hartville Fire Department provides classes such as CPR and how to use a fire extinguisher to help the community be prepared in potential situations.

The University of Akron (UA) is a public university established in 1870 in Akron, OH. UA volunteers support students' well-being through cleanup in the community garden, assistance at the Roo-Store, and providing food and hygiene items to students in need of financial help. Additionally, Campus Cupboard volunteers team up with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and The Salvation Army to provide food pop-up distributions.

Hartville Migrant Ministry (HMM) works to serve Hartville's migrant community. Whether through programs such as English classes, youth programs and spiritual programs or day-to-day operations, HMM supports families who come to the community. Additionally, HMM is the oldest free medical clinic in Ohio serving those in need of healthcare.
