Do you have dog licenses?
Yes, we do. These are available for Stark County only.
Do you sell hunting & fishing licenses?
Yes, we do. Please bring a valid Driver's license with you at time of purchase.
What is your return policy?

We stand behind every product we sell 100%. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it for a full merchandise refund within 30 days of receipt. Power tools may be returned for a full merchandise refund within 30 Days of receipt.

Returns must include all original parts and packaging. If you need to return an item, please include a copy of the Packing Slip (or Download a Returns Form here), and write on it why you are making the return and what you would like us to do (exchange, replacement, or refund). Unless we determine the product to be defective as a result of a manufacturer's defect, return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.

Should it appear that you received a damaged or defective item, please retain the original shipping carton and call us to speak with a Customer Service Representative at 800-345-2396 (M-F, 8 am - 5 pm Eastern), or e-mail us using our online contact form.

Do you have gift cards?
Yes, we do. Our gift cards can be used at Hartville Hardware or Hartville Tool, but not Hartville Kitchen or Hartville Collectables. Gift cards are not currently available to be purchased online or used as payment online.
When is the annual Tool Sale/Tool Expo?
We usually have the Tool Sale in the months of February and November. Details will be displayed on our site when the Tool Sale gets closer.
Do you repair tools?
Yes. We repair almost everything we sell! The repair time needed can vary from season to season. If we need to order a replacement part that we don't keep on hand, it may take an additional 7-10 business days.
Do you repair screens?
Yes, we do. Repair time will vary, but can be as short as a few days during non-peak seasons. Spring and summer repairs may take several weeks.
Do you have 4H supplies?
Yes. We have a few show supplies for 4H animals, but more is available for special order if you come into the store. We also offer a limited 5% discount to 4H.
Do you accept trade-ins on outdoor power equipment and do you sell previously owned equipment?
Yes, we accept trade ins toward your purchase of new equipment. We also offer the used trade ins for sale. Equipment is sold as-is, with no guarantees or warranty (unless the manufacturer's warranty is still in effect from the prior owner). If you have questions or would like an appraisal, call the store and ask for John Deere Sales.
Do you have a senior or military discount?
No, we already offer our best price to all customers.
Do you have a gift registry?
We do have an in store gift registry
What methods of payment do you accept?
In store, we accept most normal methods of payment: cash, check, and credit. We do not accept trading or bartering as a method of payment.
When are chick days?
Chick days generally begin in early March, and can extend until all chicks are sold.
When are your bag sales?
There are no set dates for our bag sales, but we will post a banner online about a week before in order to properly notify you. If you're interested in receiving an email any time we have a sale, subscribe to our email list below.
Are you hiring?
We have rolling applications available for cashiers and some lumberyard positions. Openings which require additional experience or qualifications will be posted on Hartville Hardware Employment as needed. Please note that we do not hire seasonal help. Applicants should be willing to commit to at least a full year at the position.
What classes do you have available & when?
