Kerdi pipe seal with 3/4 in. opening are cut sections of the Schluter Kerdi membrane designed to seal protrusions through the Kerdi membrane. Pipe seals feature a rubber gasket and are used to seal pipe protrusions and protect moisture sensitive solid backing materials. For commercial and residential use. Polyethylene construction waterproofs the area around pipe protrusions before installing tile, to be used with the Kerdi shower system and Kerdi Seal is used in a tile application For commercial and residential use Waterproofing membrane is used to seal protrusions through the Kerdi membrane, over molded rubber gaskets are used to seal pipe protrusions Easy to install using unmodified thinset (sold separately), use a 1/4 in. x 3/16 in. v-notch trowel to spread thin-set, then install Kerdi seal 3/4 in. wide fits a 3/4 in. pipe nipple opening, protects moisture sensitive solid backing panels at the mixing valve, prefabricated seals are cut sections of the Kerdi membrane
