Product Description
The 12" x 16-1/2″ Midi VSR Lathe (Model 70-150VSR) from RIKON is ideal for novice or professional turners who need the same features that larger industrial lathes have in a compact size. This lathe is built with a powerful 1-hp DC motor, variable speed controls, and digital RPM readout. It is also equipped with ample diameter and spindle length turning capacities in forward and reverse drives. For added convenience, the back of the corded control box is magnetic which allows users to position it along the front of the cast-iron lathe bed for easy access. The left, outboard end of the lathe bed is milled to take a special 13-1/2″ bed extension (#70-903 is sold separately) to enable outboard turning of diameters up to 15”.
