This Small Combination 1000 / 6000 Grit Water Stone from Pride Abrasive gives you the benefit of 2 stones in one economical package. The 1000 Grit side is ideal for creating micro bevels as well as a keen edge, while the 6000 Grit side is ideal for polishing the bevel or creating a micro-bevel.Superior Aluminum Oxide abrasives give it best in class sharpening speed, even with the hardest metals. The stone's vitrified bond is slow to wear and will last a very long time. The surface is finished flat and ready for sharpening right out of the box.Be sure to soak all Water Stones for a minimum of 10-15 minutes before use. Stone measures 8 inches long by 2 inches wide by 1 inch thick. Comes in a cardboard box. Made in Bristol, Wisconsin, USA
