Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 White Water-Base Interior & Exterior Stain Blocking Primer, 1 Qt. is a versatile primer designed to prime and seal a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces including new drywall, wood, masonry, metal, and glossy surfaces. It works exceptionally well on hard-to-stick surfaces such as old glossy paints, clear finishes, metal, fiberglass, PVC, composites, glass, and tile. This primer seals and tones surfaces while resisting mold and mildew formation on both the underside and surface of the primer film, helping to extend the life of your paint job. It also inhibits rust formation when applied over clean ferrous metals like iron and steel, eliminating the need for a separate rust-inhibitive primer. The formula dries to a smooth, tight film that resists flash rusting and long-term rust development, making it ideal for priming metalwork such as iron railings, steel doors, and metal panels. Suitable for use under or over oil or water-based paints, this water-based primer features a low odor and easy soap and water cleanup. It can be tinted with many universal colorants, and the gray version is recommended for use with rich or dark topcoat colors to improve coverage and hide.
