Ideal for wooden marine surfaces above the waterline, exterior doors including fiberglass and steel, natural wood siding, patio furniture, fences, and gables, this polyurethane is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. It is important to note that this product should not be used on decks or areas subject to foot traffic. For best results, remove wax and any poor-condition lacquer, shellac, or paint before application, and avoid using steel wool or shaking the polyurethane. Apply with a bristle or synthetic brush, not a roller, and allow it to dry to the touch in 30 minutes. When staining wood, use a quality oil-based or water-based stain first, then topcoat with this polyurethane.
