ZAR Aqua Interior Polyurethane is a nonyellowing, environmentally safe clear wood finish specially designed to protect and enhance the beauty of cabinets, furniture, wall paneling, woodwork, and moderately used floors. This water-based polyurethane dries crystal clear, making it perfect for use over light-colored wood or white stains. It meets all environmental standards for low solvent vapor emissions, ensuring a safer application. Ideal for use on properly prepared new wood, it is important to remove any wax, lacquer, shellac, or paint completely from old surfaces before finishing. Application is recommended with a clean synthetic fiber or foam brush, lamb's wool applicator, or pad—rollers should be avoided. For staining, apply a good quality oil-based or water-based stain first. The finish dries to the touch in 30 minutes and requires three coats with a two-hour wait before recoating. Clean-up is easy with soap and water. Coverage ranges from approximately 400 to 425 square feet per gallon, providing excellent value and durability.
