UJK Stair Jig

UJK Stair Jig is crafted from 12mm thick High Pressure Laminate, ensuring dimensional stability and backed by a lifetime guarantee against warping. Its innovative design uses a standard 30mm diameter bush to accommodate various tread and nose sizes, eliminating the need for multiple bushes or sub-bases. This jig supports closed riser standard staircases with tread thicknesses of 22mm, 25.4mm, 28mm, and 32mm, as well as open riser stairs. When completed, the staircase meets British Standard 585 Part 1 (1989) for wooden staircases and complies with Building Regulations Approved Document K (1991). The UJK Stair Jig comes with detailed instructions for use and staircase design. To use the jig, you will need a 1/2" router, a 30mm guide bush, two G-clamps, and a cutter suitable for your chosen tread thickness. The wedge for tread and riser requires a 3-degree angle.
