This single aperture hinge jig is lightweight and requires minimal setup time, allowing you to quickly and accurately cut recesses on door frames without the need for constant adjustments once set for the hinge size. It accommodates hinges ranging from 50mm (2") to 127mm (5") in length, with leaf widths between 6.5mm (1/4") and 35mm (1.3/8"). The jig features engraved markings on its body for easy measurement and precise setting. Made from 12mm thick High Pressure Laminate, it is dimensionally stable and guaranteed never to warp, while additional parts are crafted from durable aluminium. The built-in end datum stop ensures a consistent 3mm gap between the top of the door and frame. Included with the jig is a clamping plate accessory and clear, step-by-step instructions.
