UJK Full Length Adjustable Hinge Jig

UJK Full Length Adjustable Hinge Jig is expertly designed to provide precise recessing of hinges in wooden doors and door frames, eliminating the need for conventional marking methods. This innovative jig allows for quick and simple setup by using the hinge itself to set the jig, significantly speeding up door fitting with foolproof results. It comes in two halves for easy storage and transport to job sites. The jig accommodates hinges ranging from 50mm (2") to 127mm (5") in length, with leaves between 6.5mm and 35mm wide. Featuring four adjustable hinge apertures based on a 2-meter door, the positions are set at 150mm (6") from the top, 508mm (20") from the top, one in the middle, and 230mm (9") from the base. When assembled, the jig measures approximately 1,815mm (72") in length. It also includes an end datum stop to control the 3mm gap between the top of the door and the frame. The only additional tools needed are a router with a 16mm diameter guide bush, a 12mm diameter straight cutter, and two or three bradawls to temporarily secure the jig to the door and frame.
